Privacy and policy
What happens to the information you send me through this website.

Who I am
This website belongs to DreamAnna Gardens, a gardening service operating in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. If you have any question about privacy, you can reach me at info.ottawacareservices@gmail.com or +1 (647) 859-5356.
What I collect
I only collect what you choose to send me. When you fill in a quote or booking form on this site, that means:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your phone number;
- your address, if you provide it, so I can visit and price the work;
- the service you are asking about and anything you write in the message field;
- any photos of your garden you choose to attach.
I do not ask for and do not want payment card details, government identification numbers, or any health information through this website. Please don't send them.
Why I collect it
To reply to your enquiry, prepare an estimate, arrange a visit, and carry out the gardening work we agree on. That's it. I don't sell your information, rent it, or share it for advertising.
Who else sees it
Form submissions are delivered to me by email, which means they pass through the service that hosts this website and my email provider. Those providers process the message on my behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. Nobody else receives your details unless you ask me to involve someone, or I am legally required to disclose them.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and does not profile visitors. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those font files from Google's servers when a page loads. If you would prefer that not to happen, the fonts can be served from this site instead — just ask.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that don't turn into work are deleted once they are clearly no longer live. For customers, I keep contact details and a record of the work for as long as needed to look after your garden and to meet Canadian tax and business record-keeping requirements.
Photos of gardens
I sometimes photograph work I have done and show it in the gallery on this site or on social media. Photos are of plants and garden spaces, and I do not identify addresses or the people who live there. If you would rather your garden did not appear anywhere, tell me — before or after the fact — and I will leave it out or take it down.
Reviews
Customer reviews appear on this site only where the customer has left them publicly or has agreed to their being shown. If you have left a review and want it removed from this website, email me and I will remove it.
Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) you can ask me what personal information I hold about you, ask for a copy of it, ask me to correct anything wrong, and ask me to delete it where I have no continuing obligation to keep it. You can also withdraw your consent to being contacted at any time. Email info.ottawacareservices@gmail.com and I will respond within 30 days.
If you are contacting me from the UK or the European Economic Area, the same rights apply to you under the GDPR, along with the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS, so anything you submit is encrypted in transit. No website can promise perfect security, but I keep what I hold to a minimum, which is the most effective protection there is.
Children
This site is not directed at children and I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new date at the top.
